At the start I predominantly used gym based exercises and routines to increase my fitness levels, but after being challenged to hike the North Face of Ben Nevis I realised that running on a treadmill or using a stepper in the gym, does not fully prepare you body for outdoor activities.
Since then, I have devised some great outdoor workouts, using the local natural surroundings and old school training methods to add an alternative to gym based workouts.
I utilise the outdoor environment to help mothers gently get back into shape after having a child, to help individuals training for charity events such as the Race for Life and Tough Guy, and to offer an alternative to gym based workouts for any level of fitness.
